He was fifteen, grumpy from puppyhood, a champion snuggler and a royal pain in the ass, had canine OCD, and outlived his nemesis by six months.
Rest in peace you beautiful, angry old bastard.
For now.
I returned late on Saturday from a fortnight vacation in Portland, Oregon. My time there has left me with a lot to say that still requires processing. Almost entirely good. Actually, the only negative thoughts the trip has given rise to are all related to the fact of leaving Portland and coming back home to Phoenix, in June. It would be an understatement to say that the place has enchanted me thoroughly.
Having said before that my idea of a successful vacation is one where I am able to take lots of good photos, and as photographs these days take much less time to process than my feelings into words, for the moment those will have to speak for the sixteen days I spent in paradise.
